Amy Crockett :: Thanks A Bunch!

Hello everyone!!  This is Amy from Scrapping Mommy here to share a project with you today.  I just LOVE spring.  So many new blooms to see and I am really loving the warmer weather, how about you??  Today I created a card that really makes me think spring/summer.

I used the April SOTM and the Veggie Sentiments One for my card.  I colored in the flowers and watering can with copic markers and then I added a little bit of white gel pen as an accent.  I added some dimension with foam adhesive under the can and some of the flowers to help give it a little 'pop'.  I did a little bit of fringe on the green cardstock for a little added texture and then used my sewing machine to stitch around the card.  Here is a closer look......

The papers are from a 6x6 MME pad called Everyday Flair.  Love the bright and happy colors.  I hope that you can see a little bit of happiness in my card and it has inspired you to make something bright and happy, too.

Hugs,
Amy

Emily Kluender :: Coolest Crayon In the Box

If you're looking for the Spring Fling Blog Hop, please CLICK HERE.

Hi Peachy friends!!! Emily here from Creations of an Army Wife, and I've got a layout to share with you today. This is was my son's first day of preschool. He was so excited to start and picked this shirt out at the store. So his shirt was the inspiration for this layout.

The title was stamped using Lucy's Solid ABC's and 123's. The adorable little crayons, two sweet faces, and the sentiments come from PKSC-08 August 2012 Stamp of the Month Sets. I also used the "you're" from the new Honey Sentiments.The rest of the faces come from The Moodies face assortment and Simple Simons face assortment. For the middle crayon, I just stamped the Simple Simon face and filled in the glasses with a black gel pen.

I cut the crayon box using Cricut's Simply Charmed Cartridge @ 4 inches. The three PK crayons fit perfectly. The arrow was cut from Cricut's Art Philosophy Cartridge @ 2 inches. The crayon scribble was cut from Cricut's Calligraphy Cartridge @ 1.5 inches.

Other products used:

Memento Bahama Blue, Lady Bug, Tuxedo Black Inks
Recollection's Pop Dots
Color Box Red Cat Eye Ink
White Gel Pen
Target Dollar Twine
Cricut Expression
White Gel Pen
Black Gel Pen
Dienamics Sentiment Strips Die

I had a lot of fun putting this together. I hope you enjoy it too!! Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!

Glorajean Beardall :: Smile!

Hi, this is Glora from Glora's Crafts and I have a fun and simple card for you today. I was inspired by a fun card that my fellow design team member. Jeanne Streiff, had made HERE. I took her basic idea and tried to make mine look like a close up picture of someone taken with a Polaroid camera.

This sweet face is from PK-1202 The Moodies 2 1/4" and the sentiment is from the brand new Baby Buzz Sentiments both by Peachy Keen Stamps. The cute Polaroid style die is called the Stitched Capture Frame with Arrow die by My Creative Time. I used a small strip of Washi tape across the die. I also added some faux stitching with my Sakura Gelly Roll pen. Did you know you can buy the White Gelly Roll pen from the PKS store? It is my all time favorite white gel pen.

I hope this gave you a smile for the day! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs- Glora

Lezlye Lauterbauch :: Twinkle In My Eye

Good Morning!

  Lezlye's Ink and Paper Creations here
for my second Guest Designer post for Peachy Keen Stamps.  For today's card I went back to basic stamping. I used a strip of water color paper to stamp the Turtle, Grass and flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black  ink. I then used my Derwent Inktense Water-soluble Pencils to color my image. Theses pencils are more intense that regular watercolor pencils. I like them.

Inside

I used a  scallop die to cut the black scallops and the double ended banner die ( I cut one end off)  The stamps I used for this card are Peachy Keen Stamp Set PKSC_06 June 2012 and Eye Sentiments  I absolutely LOVE these stamps! The peach rubber stamps such crisp images and sentiments! Go check them out here https://www.peachykeenstamps.com

Thanks for stopping by!

Janice Wilson :: Grass Tutorial!

Hello everyone!  Today I have a YouTube video showing you one of the ways that I color grass with Copics.  Unfortunately the quality isn't as clear as I would have liked but I hope you find it useful.  I used PKSC-03 March 2012.

In this photo  I show a base coat of green, some layers of color starting on the right side of the first card, and the final result with the finished card.  The video is about 8 minutes long if you would like to watch.  I haven't tried to edit my videos so I hope you don't mind.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Amber Kroening :: So Excited!

Hey guys!  Amber here, from Bella Rose Cards.  I have a couple of CAS cards to share with you today that you can easily recreate!  I used the April Set of the Month for both of these.
For the first card I used my Silhouette to cut my butterfly and watering can.  To create the polkadot look I used my Copic markers to color my images.  To create the polkadot look I used my marker to add the dots first, and then went over the entire image with a lighter green copic. I really like how it turned out!  I scored 3 lines on the bottom of the white panel, using my scor-pal, and stamped my sentiment above them.  I adhered my images with foam tape, and attached my white panel to a blue card base.

Again, I used my Silhouette to cut my images.   I stamped the bird legs and sentiment on my white panel, and then embossed it with an embossing folder.  Then I attached my bird with foam tape, and adhered the white panel to a blue card base.  Easy right!!??
Thanks for looking.  I hope I inspired you to go create your own Peachy CAS card!

Gigi McKellips :: Best Thing Since Sliced Bread!

Hi everyone! This is GiGi here from The Cricut Bug to share a project with you.
Have you seen the NEW face stamps? OH MY are they CAUUUTE! They are called The Moodies and they come in 4 different sets! They come in the Moodies Face Assortment ( in sizes ranging from 3/8 - 1 3/8) , 1 1/8, 2 1/4, and 4 inch for all your crafting needs. I used the 2 1/4 inch stamps on this project.

I cut the bread shaped box using my Cameo and a file from Lettering Delight called Oishii. I hid the face and instead stamped it with that super cute PK Moodies face and colored it in. The tag is stamped from the PK Sandwich Fun stamp set and I tied it on with some crinkle ribbon and button with twine.
I hope you all liked my fun sandwich box and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

They are running a sale on these super cute stamps if you would like some of your own! Here are the details:

I love to create everyday whether it is with stamps, ink, my Cricut, cameo or copic markers and meeting other paper-crafting enthusiasts fills me with such joy! I have been on several design teams and I have been fortunate to have been published in a few publications including Cricut Magazine. I am truly grateful and over the moon excited to be a guest Designer for Peachy Keen Stamps.

It's Lezlye here from Lezlye's Ink and Paper Creations. I am so thrilled for this day to be here. I have been looking forward to it for months! I absolutely LOVE PKS! If you could have heard the shriek when I received the email asking me to be a guest designer for PKS, my husband thought someone was in my scrap loft! Thank you so much Kathy and the whole Peachy Keen Family for this amazing opportunity!

For my 1st project I decided to use some of my beloved Peachy Keen faces.

Saundra Rega :: Happy Bird-Day!

Hi There! Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together!

 I am so happy to be providing a little Peachy Keen inspiration today.

I created this card with the Birthday Challenge in mind that is currently open on the Peachy Keen Connection.

I used the cute little chicks that are on the brand new PKSC-16 April 2013. This set was just released on Friday. I colored these cuties with Copic markers and added some glossy accents the their eyes. I placed them in a nest that I cut from the Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite cartridge.

I cut a shape from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge and stamped it with PK-107 Cloudy Day background stamp. This is one of favorite background stamps. I find myself using it quite often.  The ink I used was very pale so it is hard to see in the photo.

For more definition, I inked all of the edges of my cuts with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Since this is a birthday challenge I cut some balloons from Create-A-Critter Critcut cartridge. I added some Twinery Baker's Twine in Maraschino, Denim, and Lemon Drop and a button from my stash.

Here's a another close up for these adorable chicks:

There is still time to join in the April release challenges for you chance to win a $25 gift certificate. You have until Tuesday, April 9th at midnight CST. You can get all the details on the Peachy Keen Connection.

Just a reminder that there is a special sale going on right now.

You can see all the new stamps on the Peachy Keen Stamps Store.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!
