Lorie Souther :: Oh Baby Diaper Cake

Good morning!
Lorie here today from The ThINKin' Spot with a cute little project to share with you.
I made this for The Peachy Keen Challenge this week, which is a 3-D project pertaining to babies.

There's never a shortage of diapers around here, so a diaper cake seemed like the obvious 3-D item for this challenge.  Here's what I came up with...

All of the images for this come from the PKSC-15 March 2013 stamp set, and everything was colored with Copic Markers.  Some ribbon and pearl flourishes finished this project off.  What a sweet way to present a baby gift!  I LOVE this idea!!  Before I wind this post up, I wanted to be sure and share some of the exciting stuff that's happening at Peachy Keen Stamps.

Jeanne Streiff :: Sweet Spring

Hi all! Jeanne from Inky Paws here today to share a sweet springy turtle card.

I stamped the adorable turtle from PKSC-06 June 2012 with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
and colored it up with markers to match a scrap of patterned paper I found in my drawer (not sure what company). I cut out the turtle and added it to my circle background with foam tape for extra pop. The sentiment I used is from PKSC-15 March 2013.

Have a great day!
Jeanne

Melissa Haas :: Infinity & Beyond & A WINNER!!!

We have a winner from our Cross Promotion with Really Reasonable Ribbon!

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to:

Dr. Sonia S V
who said:

WOW both the creations are so cute and stunning. A sure WOW element in both.
Cheers
Dr Sonia

We'll be contacting Dr. Sonia to let her know how to claim her prize, and we want to thank everyone who joined us last week!

Now be sure to check out Melissa's wonderful project for today!!!

Hello! This is Melissa and I have a scrapbook page to share with you today.  To accent my photo, I used Peachy Keen Stamps' rocket, PK-167 Rocket Blast, and spaceship, PK-166 Happy Trails Spaceship. They are designed with circular windows that I stamped with Peachy Keen faces so you could see who is driving.  An "alien" was made by stamping a one eyed  face stamp and hand drawing a head and antenna with a green marker.  The rocket has an "astronaut" inside.  Again, I stamped a Peachy Keen face but this time a small circle punch to make a helmet. Both faces are from PK-182 Sweet and Silly Face AssortmentStamped rocket and spaceship images are cut with an electric die cutter with companion SVG files. ( PK-SVG-167 Rocket Blast and PK-SVG-166 Happy Trails Spaceship)  I like to cut several shapes to layer and glue together so they look like custom "chip board" pieces.

"You are OUTTA this WORLD!"
Sentiment from PK-166 Happy Trails Spaceship
I hope you enjoyed my project today and thanks for stopping by today.

It's Friday and our 5th and final day of the Peachy Keen Stamps/Really Reasonable Ribbon Cross Promotion!  We hope you have enjoyed ALL of the wonderful creations that have been shared this week.  We sure had fun bringing them to you, and we hope that you have come away inspired to create amazing things with the fabulous products from both Peachy Keen Stamps and Really Reasonable Ribbon!!

Today, two more of our designers will bring you their creations using Really Reasonable Ribbon.  So, without further ado, let's see what they have to share.

Cindy Beland has created two adorable projects to share, the first of which is this Sweet Baby Girl layout.   Cindy used a narrow chevron print ribbon for the tie on the baby's bonnet.  SO sweet!

Cindy's second creation is this "CHERRY CUTE" card.  Don't you love the way she coordinated that beautiful cherry print ribbon with the sweet cherries on the cupcake?

Next up we have a cute and colorful card created by Sandra Rosario.  Sandra used some natural hemp twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon to accent the embossed panel on her card.

For Sandra's second project, she has shared this adorable little Easter card complete with some pretty chevron ribbon and a sweet little pink twine bow for her bunny's ear.  Super cute!!

We're so glad you could join us for this week of fun, and we want to remind you to make sure and leave a comment here, and or on any of the posts for this week, because we're going to be awarding a $25 Gift Certificate to one lucky commenter from ALL of the comments from our posts this week.  All you have to do is comment and we'll take it from there.  The more posts you comment on, the better your chances of winning.

PKS/RRR Cross Promotion :: Day 4

Good Morning!

We're back for Day 4 of our cross promotion with Really Reasonable Ribbon!
Today, Cassandra Cauble has prepared some very cute and colorful projects to get you
in the mood for Spring!

Cassandra has chosen to use her ribbon in very creative ways and we are loving what she has done!  For her first project, she combined a variety of bright colored ribbon to form a flower to frame that adorable Peachy Keen face.  Aren't those ribbon leaves cute?

For her second project, Cassandra brings us a colorful card where she used ribbon that coordinates with the color of each flower to form the stem.  Another very cute and creative idea!

Drop by Cassandra's Blog for complete details about how she created her projects, but be sure to leave a comment here before you go, because you DEFINITELY want to have your name in the hat for the $25 Gift Certificate we'll be giving away at the end of this week.  By visiting the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, you'll find some more great projects from their designers using Peachy Keen Stamps, and you'll also find another chance to win a prize!

Peachy Keen Stamps/Really Reasonable Ribbon Cross Promotion :: Day 3

Day 3 has arrived, and we are so glad you could join us as we showcase the coming together of some REALLY great products!  Peachy Keen Stamps and Really Reasonable Ribbon are the PERFECT compliment to each other in so many crafty circumstances and two of our designers are showcasing their handy work for you today.

Let's see what Nikki and Emily have created to share with you.

The first card was created by Nikki Foraker, and she chose to work with this gorgeous chevron ribbon.  What a beautiful pop of color and pattern it adds to Nikki's amazing design!

Next up we have two sweet as can be projects created by Emily Kluender.  Emily's first project is this wonderful home decor piece, and she used some of that stunning chevron ribbon, as Nikki did, but she chose to use it in a different way, by creating a ribbon rosette and leaves, and she finished her project off with the same chevron ribbon trim on the bottom and a bit which is used for hanging her project.

Emily's second project is this cute flower pot/tulips shaped card.  This is such a creative way to use ribbon, and I love the dimension and interest it adds to the finished piece.  BEAUTIFUL!!

Click on the graphic below to visit The Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, where their design team is showcasing some of their wonderful projects using Peachy Keen Stamps and Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Be sure to leave comments both here AND on their blog for a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to EACH STORE!  Good luck and thanks for stopping by today!  Come back tomorrow for even more wonderful creations!!!

Amy Crockett :: Spring Get Well

Hello!!  This is Amy from Scrapping Mommy with a sweet geared flower card to share with you today.  I love how happy and bright this card is and I hope that it would cheer up anyone's day.
I used the Spring Geared Flowers as well as the Geared Up Background for this card.  I used some foam adhesive to lift the main image off the card a little bit for some extra dimension.  The flower is colored with colored pencils.  Here is a closer look......

Don't forget that there is a new challenge going on today over at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge blog and I have a fun card that I am sharing there, as well.

Hugs,
Amy

Tanya Adams :: Spring Shadow Box

Hi there Peachy Fans, Tanya from Nonna's Craft Corner here with you today!  While it's getting warmer and more like Spring everyday in my neck of the woods, I know that many of you are still dealing with cold temps and lots of snow.  So, I thought I would send you wishes of sunshine and springtime with my little home decor project....

How's that for a touch of Springtime?

Let me tell you how I put this together:

* I started with a small shadowbox (this one measures 6.5 by almost 7 inches).
* Next, I cut cut cardboard pieces to fit each opening (I used the back piece of my paper stacks).  Using the same measurements, I cut my patterned paper for each opening. I inked up the edges of all the pieces and glue the patterned paper to the cardboard.  Then I machine stitched around all the edges of each section.

(The layer of cardboard makes each section a bit sturdier than cardstock alone)

Now comes the fun part....time to decorate!

* My sweet little duck was created using the Duck and Egg Die (CC-PK4X4-020) and her fun hat was made with the Duck Accessories Die (CC-PK4X6-004).  These dies are just darling....

* This was the first time I have used these dies and I have to say, it was super simple, easy to put together and I love the way this little cutie turned out....

* I inked up the edges of my little duck with a bit of orange ink and colored her bill with a Copic marker.  I added a few paper-punched daisies to the brim of her hat and gave her a pink twine bow.
* The banner, sign and grass are all cut from files purchased from the Silhouette Online Store.
* The word "SPRING" is from the Peachy Keen Stamp Set Spring Loaded PK-165

* The tulips are cut from a file I found at Miss Kate Cuttables.  I added some Peachy Cuteness to them with the Everyday Character Face Assortment (PK-490).

And...there you go...a touch of SPRING!
Thanks so much for stopping by today...see you soon!

Tanya
