Cassandra Cauble :: Special Baby Gift

Hello everyone!  This is Cassandra from CREATING with COLOR by CASSANDRA.  I have a super fun project to share with you today . . . it's a Diaper Cake!

This is only the second time I have ever made one, but I just love how it turned out!  And I have to say . . . it was a big success!   ;)

The guest of honor is this cutie patootie little baby girl.  Her super sweet little face is from the PKS ~ Just Baby Faces Assortment.  I colored in her eyes and pacifier with Copic ~ Sketch Markers and a white ~ Sakura Gelly Roll pen.  And I added some little rosy cheeks with chalk.

I added some little travel size baby products around the bottom and top layers.  And if you look closely at the middle layer, you can see a couple of gift cards.  Woot!  Woot!

Well my creative friends, that's it for me today.  Thanks for stopping by.  And if you would like more information, hope on over to my blog for all the fun details.  See you all again soon.  Have a great day!

Shar Hoff :: Cute Fruit!

Well it had to end sometime and sadly this is my last day guesting on the Peachy Blog, but I have to say, it has been so much fun getting reacquainted with all my peachy stamps, acquiring new ones, and playing along with the PKS team. I hope you've enjoyed my projects and will continue to follow my crafty adventures on my blog at Scrapendipity Studio. Thank you so much to the PKS team and fans for all the love. It has been a blast!! ♥

For my last project, I've used the faceless fruit, one of my very first Peachy sets, with the fruits sentiments (two) set. I used various paper scraps in my stash for this simple card, one of my favorite ways to recycle, and some yellow hemp twine.

Here is a closer view of my friends. ;) They're so corny, aren't they?! LOL In addition to the fruits and fruit sentiments, I used the cornies face assortment, and for the lemon's pucker face, funshine face parts.

Thanks again for the chance to share with other peachy fans and for all the love! It's been PEACHY and I've enjoyed every minute. ♥

Janice Wilson :: Getting Punchy With It!

Hello friends!  Today I have a little project to share with you, using 3 punches and some stamps.  I was looking at my SU Ornament punch and thought if I add a Peachy Keen face and some hair it would make a cute face to go along with the lemons and sentiment I was going to use. The sentiment, " When life gives you lemons, squirt it in the eye!" from PK-164 Fruit Sentiments Two was the inspiration for my card.   For the lemons, I used PK-239 Faceless Fruit.  I used the watermelon stamp to make the lemon wedges.  Using Memento Dandelion ink, and a little bit of masking, I stamped three watermelon wedges.  For the squirt droplets I used the water droplet stamp from PK-222 Happy Go Lucky Elephant and the mustard drop stamp from PK-115 Let's Ketchup.  I could have hand drawn the droplets, but I know some of you get nervous about drawing so I used stamps from other sets.  I did, however, draw the lemon segments with my Copics and white gel pen.
Here is a photo of the punches and stamps I used to make the PK face.
The ornament punch was used for the base of the head.  The top of the ornament when turned upside down, becomes the neck of the girl.  I liked the hair on the small angel in the January 2012 Stamp Club set, PKSC-01 January 2012, so I stamped the small angel and cut the hair from it.  I used the smaller face stamp with her tongue sticking out and stamped it on the ornament punched shape.  I wanted a stamp with one eye closed so she wouldn't get squirted in the eye.  Her ruffled collar was made with 2 scallop punches.
Here is the completed card.  I hope by showing you that you can use parts of a stamped image and punches to create something new will inspire you to see the endless possibilities with the tools you have at your disposal.
Have a wonderful day and  thanks for stopping by!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Amber Kroening :: 2 Cute Cards

Hey guys!  Amber here, from Bella Rose Cards.  One of my favorite ways to use my stamps is to create backgrounds.  It's fool proof and it lets your images take center stage.  To create this first card I used Faceless Fruit, Fruit Sentiments Two, & Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment. I simply stamped the fruit, colored them with Copics, and adhered onto a black card base.  I finished it off with a sentiment strip in the corner.

The only stamp set I used on this card was Eye Sentiments.  I stamped the eye until my entire card was covered.  I like to start in the center and work my way out.  Then I colored my eyes with Copic markers.  I stamped my sentiment on a strip of white cardstock, and used a heart punch to create a banner. I did the same thing with the orange strip, and then attached it to my card with foam adhesive.

Fun right?  I hope I helped give you some ideas on how to use your stamps to create backgrounds  Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Gigi McKellips :: Gears Grinding?

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share with you today. I used one of the new sentiment stamp sets on this card called Made On Planet Earth. I thought this would also be a perfect sentiment to go with the cute Funny Farm tractor. I LOVE this tractor stamp, it is just TOO CUTE!

I also finished the inside too!

I paper pieced the tractor/boy and did some inking on him. I also used a Versa Mark pen to color in every other line of the tractor wheels. Using the Versa Mark pen is a great alternative if you want to highlight something because it usually only comes out a shade darker than the paper you color it onto. After the tractor was done, I mounted him to a rectangle mat. I rounded the corners, inked the edges for the sky, and added a piece of green matching paper for the bottom.
I stamped the cloud and sentiment and cut it out. I also stamped the sentiment at the bottom and added some dots with a black pen to lead you to the inside of the card where the rest of the sentiment is. The inside I finished as well with the rest of the sentiment and another piece of matching paper.
I hope you all like my card and thank for visiting! Have a wonderful day!

Shar Hoff :: February Guest Designer

Hi Peachy lovers! It's Shar from Scrapendipity Studio with another guest post for you. I am so excited to be guesting, I'm having so much fun working with my peachy stamps and preparing these special projects just for you. One of the first PK stamps I ever got were these faceless veggies. Well, I literally squealed with delight when I saw the newest release sentiment sets for the faceless veggies and fruits, so you know I had to have them!
Aren't these hot little peppers the cutest! The cute squiggle at the top comes with these veggies. Had to choose the adorable cornies faces to go with these silly guys. I stamped one backwards so they would be facing each other. Then I outlined it with a fine marker to simulate the stamp line and drew on the reflections with white pen. The tiny sombrero is a die cut and the tortilla chips I made using my paper crimper. Don't eat them....they wouldn't taste as good as they look, I guarantee.  LOL
I popped the peppers with foam tape onto the label, AND, ay caramba, they wobble!!!! I sure had fun with this one!

Then this release came out..... Holy heck, it's outta this world! I love it all! Here's a quick card I did using the February release set, PKSC-14 and PK-173, Great Vibes Robots. And more wobbles! After nearly 33 years together, I still get butterflies when I hear hubs' truck coming home after work. :)

She's on a wobble....

and she has a clear shield in her helmet. LOL

 And he wobbles too!

Emily Kluender :: Welcome Spring Window Card

Hello Peachy Friends!!
Emily here and I have a fun card to share with you all today. This cold winter weather just seems to linger this year and I am so ready for spring! So spring is my inspiration for today's project.

For this card, I used several different Peachy Keen stamps sets. I love how they all work so well together to create this spring scene. The card base, window, curtain, and flower box are all from a Cricut cut file called Creative Cards (@ 5.5 inches).

The flowers are stamped and paper pieced from PK-562 Gnomegrown. I colored the flowers with Copics G24, R29, R14, Y13, Y15, Y35, YR02, and YR07. The kitty cat is cut from Cricut's Animal Kindom (@ 1 3/4 inches). The kitty cat face is from PK-110 Here Kitty Kitty Face Asst. I used a white gel pen on the nose/ears and then colored them with Copic R20.

The gnome girl is stamped and paper pieced from PKSC-03 March 2012. I colored her with Copics E00/B32, Inkadinkadoo's chalk ink, and a white gel pen. The spring sentiment is from PK-172 Spring Gear Flowers. The flower stems were cut from Cricut's 3 Birds on Parade (@ 1 inch).

The welcome sentiment and little birdies are from PK-120 Home Tweet Home. The birdies were colored with Copics B05/E13 and the welcome sentiment was colored in with Copic BG23.
