Sad News And An Invitation

We hope you all had a Blessed Easter.  As we were preparing for the celebration of Easter, we received the heartbreaking news on Saturday that our dear friend, Vivienne Holden, while hopeful and waiting for some good news from recent tests was losing her battle to that WICKED EVIL CANCER. She was taken quickly and quietly surrounded by her loved ones.  We were in contact with her loving husband and sons during her last hours. They have been wonderful in keeping her friends in the loop. I can only imagine how they are suffering right now.  The news of Viv's passing has saddened those who knew her and been felt WORLDWIDE.  Especially within the crafting community where she made so many friends!
Many of you may remember that Viv was on our design team for several years.  She never missed a scheduled post, or time to be there in support of her team during her lengthy battle with cancer.  Most of those who knew her didn't even know she was sick!   How would you?  Complaining was not something you would EVER hear from Viv!!   She always left wonderful and encouraging comments for those who played along with our Peachy Keen Challenges and other events.  Her comments were upbeat, positive and uplifting and that's just because that's the way Viv was.  She will be forever, my HERO!  She kept her chin up through it all and she was an inspiration!
May our sweet Viv rest in peace knowing that we all loved her so very much!  She had the BEST sense of humor and she left us with many amazing memories and LOTS of smiles.  God Bless her family and her MANY friends  grieving her loss right now. She will be missed by ALL who had the pleasure of meeting her online and or in person. I know I personally will miss her terribly, I already do! “Sleep tight, Viv! Love you, ta bits”
Nikki Foraker AKA ScrappinNavyWife shared a card she created in our Facebook Group “The Peachy Place” in Viv’s honor.  Take a look at Nikki's adorable card and as per Nikki's invitation, please participate if you can.   If you are not a member of The Peachy Place, no problem.   Simply request to join and I will approve you.  I created the set of stamps Nikki used, PK-277 Vivienne and Friends a while back in honor of our sweet friend Viv, as she went through her battle with breast cancer.   If you don't have these stamps, and would like to participate, I have the file available to download in The Peachy Place.  Creating a card or project with this set is our way honor Viv's memory and let her family across the pond know just how special she was to us.  Here's the link to The Peachy Place where you'll find Nikki's card, and a link to her blog  https://www.facebook.com/groups/419054411574091/

Should you decide to accept Nikki's invitation to create a project with Vivienne and Friends, we'd love for you to link your project here so that we can ALL see and share in your creative genius. Please add your link below.

Amber Kroening :: The Beauty of Nature

Hello!  Amber here, from Bella Rose Cards.  Today's card features stamps from two of this month's add-on sets; Clearly Autumn Pint Jar Contents, and Clearly Autumn Quart Jar Contents.  As you can see, these sets can be wonderful even without the jars!  I started by stamping the pine leaves on kraft cardstock, then I heat embossed them with green embossing powder.  I inked the edges and matted it on to a cream cardstock layer, and added a cream bow, then adhered it to an orange card base.  Next I stamped my sentiment in brown, then stamped a leaf with orange ink and colored it in with a yellow marker.  Again, I inked the edges, then matted in orange and adhered it to my card.  That's all for now!  Thanks for stopping by!

Candace Zentner :: October Guest Designer!

GOOD MORNING!!
We are thrilled to introduce you to our October Guest Designer
Candace Zentner!!!

I am a stay at home mommy of three little girls and I love to use crafting as a way to unwind at the end of the day. Before I had my girls, I was a Civil Engineering Technologist, but I just couldn't go back to work and miss out on all the special moments with them as they started to grow up. I have always been into scrapbooking, but it wasn't until I started creating layouts for my first daughter that I really got bit by the crafting bug. My favorite things to make are scrapbook layouts, cards and treat packages. I love being able to create fun projects, and I also love interacting with all the amazing ladies I have met throughout my crafty journey. Aside from crafting, I am passionate about photography, interior decorating,  traveling (mostly to DisneyWorld), shopping and anything fun I can do with my little princesses.

Please join us in extending a very warm welcome to Candace and drop by each Tuesday this month to see what crafty goodness she'll be sharing with her Peachy Keen Stamps!!

***************************

Hey everyone! Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses! I am SO excited to be here! The very first set of stamps I purchased was from Peachy Keen over three years ago and I have been in love with PK ever since. It feels amazing to be a guest here this month! Somebody pinch me!! ;)

I can't wait to show you my project today...

I know that summer is over, but I think I am in denial...  It snowed here three days ago, but I refuse to put my flip flops away! :)

These little popsicles are cute, but adding some PK faces takes the cuteness through the ROOF!!

I used two of my favorite face assortment sets on my popsicles: Sweet & Innocent and In the Garden. To make my cute little treats stand out, I popped them up using some foam stickers.

Here is everything I used to make my card...
- Popsicle SVGs from Miss Kate Cuttables
- American Crafts washi tape
- Glossy Accents
- Pebbles Chalk
- Sequins

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I cannot wait to show you my next project!!
